Victoria began her career in veterinary medicine shortly after she graduated from James Madison University, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology in 2014. She was initially hired as a client service representative at a busy general practice, with a goal of gaining experience in the field before attending veterinary technician school. She transitioned to kennel attendant, veterinary assistant, and finally a laboratory technician assistant role throughout her schooling. During her enrollment in Blue Ridge Community College’s veterinary technology program, Victoria quickly discovered a passion for cytology and pathology, with particular interest in oncology. After graduating in 2018, she jumped at the opportunity to join The Oncology Service in Springfield as a newly licensed veterinary technician. Due to some life changes, she returned to general practice for a few years, enjoying a new role as laboratory team lead where she discovered an interest in hospital leadership and training. Victoria rejoined TOS Springfield in 2021 as an oncology technician, and subsequently accepted the position of clinical supervisor. In the fall of 2022, she moved to the Richmond area and into the position of site manager for The Oncology Service RVA.

In her spare time, Victoria enjoys reading, going on hikes, cooking, and attempting to groom a “green thumb” for her growing plant collection. Her family shares their home with an “old soul” Pointer mix named Franklin, and a wildly entertaining Russell terrier named Lincoln.
